All these M535i, M5 and Alpina E28 are nice but I was missing a "pure" and clean version without any spoilers.
So I did another conversion, based on OttO's Alpina B7.

Lots of work:
- milled down the spoilers, reshaped front fascia and trunk lid
- painted body to genuine BMW #170 Bahama Beige
- chrome trim done with Alclad II or BMF
- TRX-wheels taken from UT E36 Coupe
- replaced Recaro front seats by simple "velour" version from AUTOart E21
- matched the shape of rear bench
- carpeted floor and hatrack with self-adhesive Alcantara
- interior painted to nougat brown
- German custom plates
- 525i-badge puzzled from 2 spare water-slides (535i + 325i)

Thanks, mates!

How did you striped off the paint? I never tried such a thing on resin models...
I didn't need to strip since this was made from a plain kit.

These kits are not to buy usually. These bodies are rejected from production because of tiny flaws, so they are not painted, just primed. Perfect for my use!
Since I know the guys behind OttO/GTS, I get them offered from time to time.
If I use a stock model for conversion I just sand it before repaint.
