Guys, after watching Jeremy Clarkson's "Hot Metal" last night, and seeing him comparing the '72 3.0 CSL with the modern M3 CSL, I got very interested in the 72 version. Does anyone have pics to share of the model? I think I may have to buy it.

Very nice, Richard! :nicejob I was thinking primarily of the silver one, but your yellow is beautiful! You wouldn't have any interior and/or engine shots by any chance, would you?

Jim, thanks for the pics! The Batmobile is truely gorgeous, but since I already have a race CSL, with colors very similiar to that (and of course, with the big huge fat wheel arches) I would rather have a "more" different version of it. Down here I only found the silver car, but Richard's yellow one is beautiful.

LUW - i'm after the new blue colour. To be honest though i'll be happy with the silver or yellow versions too. Please don't pass the silver CSL up, you will probably regret it later :giggle .

The shape and look of this car is fantastic. A man in the next street to me had a concours CSL, i loved seeing it. It must have been this which started my passion for older BMWs.

:cheers

LUW - the blue colour is already out. It is made by Minichamps, and it looks fantastic in the metal. I'll try and find a pic and link it. Modelissimo has a pic but it won't allow you to link it direct.

Most definitively a keeper! Though the yellow and green/blue to my eye are the nicest, of course I will not disdain the silver one. I guess it will all come to availability and price. Thanks for your help guys! :cheers
