Hi,
Normal practice for Maisto is to have a 1-piece brake caliper and disk; therefore as they are moulded together the brake disks do not rotate.
However as I don't have this model I stand corrected if anybody knows different.

(Just out of interest Shahel, where did you order it from?)

well on LUV's reviews it says
"having working suspension and with movable brake discs (that do look as carbon fiber) and static calipers"

on castrol_supra_gt's it says
" Because the brake discs are calipers are made from the same piece of plastic, the brake discs do not rotate with the wheels but rather stay fixed in place."

local Porsche dealer where i bought my car from. I phoned them up and said i was really after the minichamps carrera gt model and as im waiting for them to find me a nice 996 c4s he had to keep me happy so he said he could give me there 1:18 dealer edition that sells for £22 or so for free :danbana they bunged it in the post for me today :) so should have it soon.

Shahel, perhaps these differences can be attributed to one being 'regular' release and the other 'dealer'. Perhaps one of them will read this post and explain

Since i last posted i've been to have a look at my new 2004/5 Maisto SLK 200. The brake discs do not rotate, they are a single moulding.

( Result at the dealer!! i bet your looking forward to the 996!)

Good question If it were me though I would just go for the Normal Maisto. Dealer Maistos do not seem all that special for the price. :mine
