Voting for the DX Model of the Year categories is now closed, here I will list the winner of each category, and then open up the Competition thread for the overall DX Model of the year 2017.

Voting for the 'best model company of the year' was very close in the end, CMC were in the lead for a while, but Almost Real just clinched it with one vote!! I don't have an AR Models yet (I suspect most of you guys don't either) but I can't wait to see what they have in store for 2018, i'm sure I'll be picking a few up!

The worst model company of the year was won for the second year in a row by AUTOart.

I'm pleased that the CMC Talbot Lago won the Classic / Vintage High end category, I only picked up one a few weeks ago, but it was so worth it!!

The Ignition Pandem GTR absolutely smashed the votes for the best resin model. I have one myself and can tell you guys that it is a an absolutely stunning model! It's fantastic, with an awesome paint job!

I'm very pleased that the OttO Mobile Renault Magnum won the 'biggest surprise release model of the year' as soon as one appeared at a toy show a couple of years ago I knew I couldn't wait to get one, so when it came out in March, I bought one right away.

So there we have it, these are the models you guys voted for!
