Yeah the centres do need something... but Im not sure what yet... Might have to track down the gold that my mate used to paint the rims... I got the rims off my mate already painted...

thanks for your comments

I agree with Eddie . The colour is nice , maybe if the rims had been gold centres / chrome rim rather than the other way round.

Looks like its coming along nicely Ben...should be good when its finished . :cheers

It needs a sand and then a few coats of clear.... maybe a clear pearl if I can get it in a can....

I need to make new door linings as 2 of them have been destroyed... Im just going to use some plastic sheet and make the inside of the doors flat.... with maybe a pin head as the door handles

I'll share my secret with you, (and every one else). What I used on my custom Saleen S7 is this, and don't laugh. I pick up cheap watches at the Salvation Army, that not longer work, the fancy kind with the metal push-in stems. I tear the watch apart and save the tiny screws. Then, with a small pliers, or a flat-bladed screw drive, I push the stems out from inside the watch body. You pull the actual push stem out of the outer stem body, and use the stem body inverted in the wheel center, kind of makes it look like a racing wheel. Some eye candy is better than none. You have to drill out a hole in the center of the wheel. I hope all of this makes sense, it's hard to explain. If you try this, you'll need a watch that has four identical push stems.
