Cars with chopped tops have always appealed to me; they add a definite look of radicalism that is aggressive and dynamic.

To achieve this result with a 1:18 model appears to be complicated and challenging.

The roof support angles change as the top is lowered. Plus the glass has to be severly adjusted as well.

Where can a zealous modeler find useful step-by-step instructions on how to perform this mod?

(I want to learn how strictly for my own enjoyment in modifying-no commercial ramifications.)

As far as mating the roof to the body, you may have to file down the body portion of the pillars to match the roof. A dremel should do the job.
