Their website will list the retailers who sell their products. The trick is to find one who not only ships abroad, but removes the GST from the item prior to selling. Depending on your country/currency, this may or may not be an issue (seeing you're in the US you're already at an advantage). Being in CA, I don't relish the thought of paying AU tax and then having Customs charge me CA tax on top of it. I'm still looking around to see who has it available for pre-order, but I may have to eat it if I want it.

But those of us living in that same 'worldwide' can't buy them here.....
Is there a reason you can't just order it from AU and have it shipped? Is the shipping cost prohibitive? I've paid between 30-40 CAD per diecast to ship to CA which is about double what I'd pay if buying from a CA retailer, but in line with shipping from the US once currency conversation is calculated.

If you have any questions and they're not responsive via email, reach out to them via ebay. They are user kollectablekaos. They are very helpful and quick to respond there (taking into account any time difference encountered).

In the end the whole excercise lost me €30 and I didn't get the model I wanted.
S****y that you lost out on the shipping. I was not aware of any changes. I haven't encountered any recent issue with parcels from AU thankfully. One thing I know is when the US finally implements the change (and change frankly) we'll be close on their heels.

That is a shame, I never had, or seen West End. Are they going to make a XXXX? Cause, I will buy that one. To be honest, I enjoyed XXXX Gold more than XB.
I think the list of brewers they are releasing in the series is on the bottom: Castlemaine, West End, and Tooheys.

It's quite a nice local touch.

Just wanted to do a special call out to Classic Carlectibles. I purchased the Ford Falcon XA this summer and not only had the hood lip chrome trim come off during shipping, but it had snapped in half. It was repairable, but I wanted to see if they offered a replacement. And they did. They had their distributor mail me the piece at no charge and it recently arrived.

From all the comments on the non-responsiveness of manufacturers it's nice to find the ones that do care about customer service.

👍👍👍

You would think that a company would look to supply as many markets as possible where there is a demand for their products.
It's possible they are satisfied with the market share they currently have and see no need in risking expansion.

From my observations, their primary competitor's, Biante, output has slowed down and with AutoArts turn to composites, their older molds are seemingly mothballed now (I'd imagine if they owned the molds they'd shift them to another manufacturer, but it's possible AA retains control of the molds and won't let them, but I obviously don't know). CC still outputs many of their older molds in different colours and trims and they continuously churn out new molds. If you want some of the classic Fords and Holdens only CC still releases new versions.

So from a business aspect why deal with international distribution when everything you produce is easily handled locally especially since expansion produces higher risk and potentially not that much greater return.

Not that I don't agree with you, but I can fathom why they don't.

Some more 'worldwide' releases coming in 2023. Don't follow racing, but perhaps one of the members down under can enlighten us as to why a 5th place finisher is being reproduced. Although I do like the livery.

Yes, I've seen the Bartlett Camaro on sale now at a few retailers. I'm waiting to see who else offers it and their price/shipping before pulling the trigger. I like Johnson's Mustang as well, but share similar sentiments with regards to pricing and will only get one.

As much as I like the Mustang, I'm all in on the Camaro as it was the first diecast I saw online from CC and was just blown away by it (and gravely disappointed when I saw it was last released a decade ago with reseller prices to match). Nobody has reproduced the 2nd gen Camaro as well as they have. Plus it's history is really interesting and will be a fun piece to own.

Same with me regarding the Camaro, secondhand prices are very high and it's probably the last chance to get one of them at RRP since this mold was last produced 9 years ago (not many other liveries can be produced, same with the Mustang) - maybe I just need to buy two and sell the one I like the least!
Yeah, I can't see them releasing it again as selling the 'Pole Position' version seems a bit of a stretch. Nevertheless, having a chance to grab it at MSRP can forgive a lot.

It's unfortunate they're releasing both at the same time. I'd definitely grab them both if they were spaced out, but after my recent expenditures I need to scale back. I will say that ZL-1 Camaro also looks tempting.

You could also buy both and sell something else to even out the purchase. 😁😁😁

Wow, as I was checking my collection room to see if I had space for this one, I found this.
You know you have too many diecasts when this happens! 🤣🤣

That is definitely a nice find. 😃😃😃

Anyone know the backstory about the difference between the two?
CC released this 3 times now. The first 2 were from actual races while the recent release is the Bathurst pole position:

I've tagged @samx5 as he knows a lot about Bartlett's Z28 history.

I have had this happen once or twice!
Sadly I've had the opposite happen where I was positive I had a certain diecast only to discover I didn't.
