Looks fantastic Jeff. Cant wait to see the black and white clks. Did you separate all the parts before removing the tampos. If so, how did you manage to put back the grill and the lights.

Winston,
I didn't take anything apart on this one, it was pretty easy to do.
For the grille and rear wing, I used a paint marker to cover up the tampo as it did not come off very well with the NPR.
The marker matched perfectly :happy

That's awesome work Jeff! :nicejob :nicejob I'm still trying to clear out the orange paint from some of the deep grooves. I'm finding it a bit challenging to take out the paint from those areas with a Q-Tip.

I am reminded of a story of a General at an Airforce base that didn't like all the grafitti that had been painted by the various units on the large rock formation at the end of the airstrip.

The new Commander of the base didn't know how he was going to remove all the years of paint off of those rocks.

Then a brainstorm hit!

He would simply paint the rocks gray to look like rocks!

The same thing will work here :giggle
All I did was paint the grooves with some silver paint and wipe off the excess:lol

Pretty sly Jeff, pretty sly!

What brand silver paint did you use to colour-match it to the car?

I use a "Sanford" Silver Coat Metallic Marker with a Extra fine point.
Stk. 68820.

This is the best thing I have ever used for detailing interiors and engines in addition to being a perfect match for the CLK DTM silver :cheers

Yes, that was the worst area or me :WTF
By using a combination of silver and a bit of black paint I was able to cover just about all of it.

The only way to get this perfect is to take the car apart :cry
