Wow - what a surprise!
After I had a very similar picture in last month’s POTM (same background, other car) I did expect voters would be bored and choose one of the other great photos in the contest…

Would have loved to share this win with Koen (@Stirling_Moss ) and his great Bartoletti composition. But with only 26 voters the results have definitely a random component. The poll could have easily ended the other way round…

Both great photos! Last year on a bike ride here in Scotland, I stopped and chatted to a guy parked up in that exact Ferrari, same colour. It was so absolutely totally beautiful.

I fully agree - it took me a while to find out but this colour spec is my absolute favourite for the 458:
White with gunmetal rims and yellow calipers.
