Feedback appreciated

Heres a before shot of what had been done to the model when I got it

On the roof you will notice 2 indents... they are the sunroofs covered up for painting. I didnt like them and couldnt find anything to fill the ugly holes left by them when I removed the perspex so it was decided to go convertible to save myself some work

Theres just going to be a panel on the back behind the rear seats that would normally be the area that the soft top would be stored... this is a permanent open top cruiser..... Sunny days only!!!

Looks like that model has had some major work done already.

What is going to be the final color?

I kinda like that purple.

It will be a metallic Magenta sort of colour... I found the paint in my local hobby store today and i really like it. When I get some good weather I will shoot a few coats of primer onto the body and let it settle, then will do the colour. Its a Humbrol colour

lookin great so far :cheers

did you flock the interior??

and maybe chop the windscreen a little, make it bit lower

if you can, make a replacement windscreen out of clear plastic

RW yes the interior was flocked when I got the model.... It was an unfinished project as I said before... I had a look at lowering the windshield but that is very hard to get right... so its staying at the original height... the real convertibles I have seen have standard height windshields so I think it looks good. I have made a temporary screen out of clear acetate sheets... I got some thick stuff and did it

Petet I think its actually I Bburago model. The back door doesnt open any more... I had to araldite it into place so that I can finish it...
