Hello and
to my collection of Famous Movie Action Figure
JANUARY 1, 2012
_______________________________________________________________________________________
MAJOR CHANGE : GOT RID OF ALMOST ALL MY ACTION FIGURE COLLECTION (7in figures).
I'M NOW CONCENTRATING ON BUYING HIGH QUALITY 12" FIGURE INSTEAD (HOT TOYS STYLE).
_______________________________________________________________________________________
I used to have 130 action figures, all 7-inches size ... but I got bored of collecting them and I prefer buying high quality 12-inches instead.
I kept a few (Alien Queen & Predator figure ... Matrix's APU and Sentinel ... Robocop & ED209) basically because they are huge pieces that will still fit nicely among the 12" and they will make nice dioramas, which I'm planning to eventually make.
I've also kept the entire Ghostbusters line also because of a future custom diorama I've planned to make eventually ...
I bought my very first two action figure back in 1998, they were Scully & Mulder from X-Files. Then again, like for my diecast collection, I wasn't planning to buy anymore of those .... but ....
I really started my collection in 2004 and "The Bride" from Kill Bill Vol.1 was responsible for my new addiction. So I decided to get every famous movie character, that I like, available on the market.
But like I said, I'm now focusing on 12" figure but I don't plan to get them all because they're very pricey .. but then again ...
So since I got rid of almost my entire collection, I scaled down from 130 to 47 MAF and my collection has costed me $7,980.87 ....... which is an average of $169.81 / figure
For the presentation, I choose to go with the same style as my diecast collection topic and do an alpha listing by movie title
So enjoy my thinner "Movie Action Figure Collection" ....I hope you will like it
