I'm looking at painting a C5 Corvette and changing it into a Grand Sport model, however, I'm needing to remove some stickers. Is there anyway of re-applying the stickers once the paint work is finished?

I have experimented with removing the stickers and seems once they are removed, the adhesive is no good anymore.

The model won't be the same if the stickers aren't put back into place. The only other alternative is buying a model kit and using the water based ahdesive decals from it. But I don't want to buy a whole model kit just for 2-3 stickers

Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated.

I'm also on the fence about what color the interior should be: traditonal Grand Sport Red or should I go with a White :?:

The stickers if removed with care(& razor blade  )then placed on wax paper may have a second life :? !?! When it comes to the interior, traditonal Grand Sport Red is the way to go! good luck!
