This is a Lambo Gallardo I painted with everyones help with the poll that was posted. The color is called Purple Metallic Flake, ironcially, there are no flakes in it.

This model started out as a black Gallardo. After disassembling it and sanding it down to the bare metal, two coats of primer and three coats of paint and one coat of polish its ready to go into display. :happytwo

I must say that I exceptionally pleased at how the paint paint layed down for me perfectly. The addition of the heat gun aided in this process. :cheers
Nicely done DX, the paint work looks great :cheers :cheers
Nice job, X! :nicejob
What paint did you use? Did you heat the car up with the heat gun?
PS: Is this the "accident" car?

Thanks gents. :cheers

I used Testors spray paint. I used the heat gun to speed up the curing process of the paint. The air from the gun actually smooths the paint out and then semi dries it.

And yes this is the car that stirred up quite a stinch in the garage :giggle
