From the Anime series: Mospeada

This toy is roughly a 1:8 scale and was made in 1990 by Gakken.

Darrick - It's a terrific conversation piece. All my riding friends love it. How I ended up with this toy is even more interesting... :happy

OT, there are some cheap tinplate bots that I've seen at a store, are those any good? They're windup (I think), about 20-30 cm high and sell for around $30-70. :feedback

Personally, I like tins. :cheers in my opinion, tin collectibles are in a class of their own. They're cool & classy (in a nostalgic kind of way).

From an investment point of view - tin prices/values doesn't appreciate as quickly as diecasts (chogokins). However, tins are likely to become more valuable than diecasts in the long run.

About the tins you've seen - Were they (popular) characters like: Ultraman, Astroboy, or Godzilla?
