Ariel,

On your camera, you have the option of using the multi-point autofocus (AiAf) or single point autofocus, or manual focus. AiAF is the option you have shown on your left photo. To turn off the multi-point, you have to go into the camera menu tab and turn AiAF 'off'. Then you get single point AF, which is shown on your pic on the right.

Is this what you were asking? :confused

Good luck! :cheers

I'm kind of hoping your user's manual is not in Korean. :giggle But seriously though, is there any information in there about selecting specific zones to focus upon?

This is how it is on my Canon G5...

Click the SET button (the white box turns green on the LCD), then you press the scrolling buttons (up, down, left, right - that you would use to scroll through menus), once you got it in the place you want it, click the SET button again and the now green box should turn white and then shoot :)
