whenever I get time to order some wheels and a wing from a site, I am going to try to make a F50 Bolide and a Comptech NSX. I have a spare model of each of these cars. I am trying to get Steffen to come to this board, but I do not know if he will. I will keep you updated on my models.
SOME ONE HAS TO DO A MOD OF THE 550 PRODRIVE, AND I THINK STEFFEN SHOULD BE THE 1! HIS MODS ARE AWSOME COOL
I MY SELF IF I EVER GET A GOOD CAMERA, I WILL POST PICS OF MY FIRST CUSTOM MOD, THE FRANKINSTIENED LAMBO MURCIELANGO DONE TO GTR SPECS!!! (all I did was widen the body, add a rear wing, some race interier and front widen spoiler!still much to do.)
What material do u use in order to widen bodies??? I'd like to know, coz I want to try to make a New mini Cooper WRC
And... How do you make holes in a metal body??? I'd like to know, and mayb, in 1 year or smth you'll see the result!!!
Used just a basic bodywork hammer and a sand bag to pound fenders out(shap them),It made the openings for the wheels a bit bigger(good & bad in a way :? )Letting you put a wheel with a large footprint in there
. It's finding a tire fat enough to look right in the fender :?
this does help the front though, putting fat, wide tires on the front need the flared fenders just so they are able to turn
:!: :!: :!: Word of caution, By shaping the FRONT FENDERS there is a chance that the hing area for the door's on the inside of the fender are going to be damaged a bit and you have to try to get the inside of the fender as flat as possible so the wheels can turn! It's harder then it sounds :x ( 1 of the 4 tiny ribs that hold the dogleg door hing to the body of the Murc was flated! door still held in place and opens right but can come off! )
for the holes, use a drill for basic holes or a dremel with cutting disc to make slits .
only other thing I can say is :!: BE CAREFUL :!: those dremel wheels break easy  :!:
