You are on a 1/12 roll Darren! Are these all new or are you just photographing them?
Thanks Jon, these old time Ferrari 1/12th models are from my friend who i bought them off when i went down to collect the Record models a Month or two back. He said before i went down he didn't have any more models left but when i went down to see him he had these(around nine or ten x 1/12th (two x 1/14th models too)of them but not in good shape and all needing titivation ) so he let me buy them for a good price and it has taken until now to clean them up one by one to the standards you see, still got a few more to show when i get them finished. The 1/12 Verstappen model came in between time so slotted that in between them.(y)

Darren - your photography continues to be spectacular as is your collection of monster-sized cars! Loving the 412P, which we don't see much of since relatively few were successful (David Piper's green version(s) come to mind) but it's great to see the 250 P which I believe is so often overlooked as one of the great race cars of all time. It and its variants dominated racing in 1963-64 and was significant as the first mid-engined car to win Le Mans - and the same chassis (with an engine upgrade from 3-liter 250 to 3.3-liter 275 configuration) - did it both years!

Thanks, Red, your knowledge is a god send as you know these type of machines through and through.
These are really nice models once cleaned up, i do have a few more to show when i get them cleaned and photo'd. My friend who i got these from says he has two more (i think 412P's,one the green one you are talking about)that another friend of his is keeping for him and he's trying to get them back so will hopefully give them to me when i visit him again in the spring. This has been another Awesome year and i managed to collect way more models than i thought i would have done, some beauties still to come before the end of the year, fingers crossed they are not delayed.

Those Le Mans winning Ferraris are awesome in 1/12 scale. The last Ferrari you photogrpahed was the very last front engined racing car to win Le Mans and is an absolute monster. You weren't wrong when you mentioned picking up some treasures
Thanks Simon, i have enjoyed the close inspections of them as i cleaned them, just a few more of these to go now but well happy to have added them to the Collection.(y)

Another Great liveried model and in the slightly smaller scale of 1/14th and Rare, here is the MG Model 1/14, 1994 Ferrari 333SP Firenze, IMSA #30 Moretti/Salazar. Although a 1/14th scale it is about the size of the 1/12th Ferrari 250P so not a huge difference to what i collect. Again its from my friends collection and had to be cleaned up to a reasonable level so that i could show it and get it into storage like the others i have shown. I can't recall seeing any others of these at this scale and i am surprised to see some nice detail to it for a old model. Just missing some deflectors on the front just above the sticker on each side, i will add them when i have more time.
