OK, results are in.

Going into Final Jeopardy, the scores were:
Dbonser $9000; acisne, $7100; Mairandeddy, $7000; Spadge1976, $3600; Simondc07, $1100; Gavin, $900; S40, $600; Superleggera, $400; Mox, $300; Carbonsigma, $300; Seby123, $200.

In 6th place was Gavin. He wagered all $900, and answered, "What is the Lotus M100 Elan and the Ford/Mercury Capri?" His score doubles to $1800.

I didn't get wagers from Simondc07 (for the reason he stated above) or from Spadge1976.

MairandEddy was in 3rd place. He answered, "What are the Lotus M100 Elan and the Ford Mustang LX 5.0L Sport Convertible?" Sorry, that's wrong. What did he wager? Everything. Waw, waw, waw, wawwwww....

In second was Al, with $7100. He answered, "What are the Lotus M100 Elan and the Ford/Mercury Capri?" That's right, and he wagered everything, doubling his score to $14,200."

In first place was Douglas, with $9000. He answered, "What are the Lotus M100 Elan and the Ford/Mercury Capri?" His wager? $5300, giving him $14300, and the victory.

I'm glad you enjoyed it! Although it was a little time consuming researching the questions, I have to admit I had fun doing it. I think the next time we run it we should give Matt a well deserved crack at playing rather than running the competition, so any volunteers? If we get enough participation, I see no reason we couldn't make this a monthly event.

That's cool, Eddy...I guess we'll just leave it up to you guys...we can have a game whenever we have a commitment from one or more people to run it. That includes researching the questions and running the game.

So far we have S40 (who's going to need some help with the researching) and mairandeddy (a couple months from now). So either get in touch with these guys or post in this thread if you want to help them out. When you're ready to go (have all questions set up) let me know and I can post an announcement a week or so before the competition begins.

I think an easier week for me to do it would be May 8-16 where I don't have any academic classes. I can probably come up with most if not all questions, I got a friend to help me out.
