Finally finished this mod after three paint strip downs.

Questioned my sanity for attempting this at times.

Used milliput to reshape the front nose and moondisk wheel covers.
The wheel covers are a button/snap combination with a steel rode to fit in the axel.This allowsme to keep the funtionability of the removable wheels.

Decals by Pattos.


Mark Donohue in action at Talledega in 1975 after the CanAm has faded. Mark would loose his life practising for a Grand Prix days later.

The model started off as the prototype (white) 917/30 and like the Sunoco car hadthe chrome in place I did not touch that other to overlay the decals. The wheel moon disks are painted silver.
