On New Years Eve I was at a friend home and then a Tamiya model of this Fiat 131 was in the showcase. The friend took his time with a Fiat 131 road races and had to tell appropriately, and much to rave about, especially from the engine sound.
And instructed should come thus stood, then soon after this Kyosho on the net to purchase, so bring it on :)

Fiat 131 Abarth #9 Rallye Portugal 1978

The Fiat was driven by Walter Röhrl and Christian Geistdörfer..

Alitalia livery fits like the fist on the eye to the flat.

The road version was known as "Fiat 131 Mirafiori" and was built from 1974-1984.

The look in the trunk, tank farm and the battery.

The Cockpit from Walter Röhrl and Christian Geistdörfer.

The seats and seat belts are reproduced beautifully.

The engine produced about 230HP and the car weighed just 970kg.

1977, 1978 and 1980 Won the Fiat 131, the Rally World Championship

Walter Röhrl was in 1980 with the Fiat 131, the first time rally world champion..

Röhl was due to failure of the 1978 Rally of Portugal not quit.

The world champion in 1980 and Röhl gewannn Geistdörfer then the Portugal Rally

Nice looking Fiat. I love the livery. I would like to strip one of these down and create "street" version. Anyone do it?
