Hi guys,
this is one the most beautiful liveries I've ever seen racing on the streets and one of my customers asked me to make one using a Wedge BMW M3 rally plain body white as a base. This model is really good looking and looks on pair with the Ottomobile M3 rally model.

Actually this has been my 1st resin model modification and I was a bit afraid of this, but it has gone straight way good at the end. As usual I drawed from scratch the decalsheet for this model.

Here is the real car, which scored a 3rd place overall at the Ypres 24h rally in 1990, driven by the Belgian Gregoire De Mevius:

First step, naturally, was masking the body to paint it black where needed:

After a couple of days I was so anxious to start working again on this model that I completely forgot to take pictures of the body in plain version
, so I'll show you the first partial I documented

After the completion of decals application, here is the final result

Hope you like it!!!

Great work on a less well known M3 rally car.
One of the reasons I am so fond of the car is that (like the Sierra) it could be used on roads (rallying) and circuits (racing).
There are not many cars after the 1980's which give that level of flexibility.
