I'm sorry to hear that you must go, but I understand completely. Each of us have obligations & responsibilities that we must take care of first before we can sit back and enjoy our hobbies. I just hope that this is not something very serious.

The original post was not mine. I've got no intentions of going anywhere. I've seen the same exact message posted by "me" on a few other message boards I visit, so I've changed my password. (I also noticed some emails on my yahoo account sent out with a similar message, so I've already had family calling me this morning...ACK!)

Yeah, it's a mess, I've had the same password for my internet accounts for a while. Someone logged on to paypal with my account, my email accounts, bank accounts, etc, etc... Somehow, someone got ahold of my bookmarked web pages and pretty much logged onto anything that was there.

I'm glad to be "back" though! I can't go buy an AUTOart CLK-GTR and not post about it!

:scared :scared :scared I've heard of a few cases of identity theft and it's a total nightmare for the victims. I guess one of the first steps you've had to take is notify all the financial companies you deal with. Good luck in dealing with this crazy situation. :cheers Our thoughts are with you.

I'm thinking my room mate is the source for my "identity theft", as I just noticed his login for paypal was in the member log on section. Luckily, there was nothing stolen, just some goofy emails and posts that went out in my name. So other than the hassle of straightening things out, there was no real harm done.

PS: The only reason I actually found this topic was a few PMs I received that confused the heck outta me!
