NOTE: That's my first review of a model, so if there is something wrong tell me!

I've bought this model because it was one of my dream - I've always found Indycars better than F1 cars - and, when I saw this model, that was my occasion to buy one!

So, let's start with the review!

THE BOX

As you can see, in the back of the box there is the Indycar with all the team personnel.
But, inside this, there is another box, where the model is visible

Nothing more to say here, let's pass to the model itself

THE MODEL

Taking out the model from the box, I?ve noticed it is heavy and huge (compared to my Audi 90 IMSA it is heavier and a little bit longer).

It has a very nice livery, that is like the one in 1:1

The front of the car is simply amazing, with all the little sponsors that can be recognised easily.

The wheels have a really nice camber (in the foto they seem with a different camber, but it's a photographic effect), but they have a nice problem: They don't steer. Yes guys, the wheels do turn but can't steer, and it' s a problem for a perfectionist like me.

Let's pass to the rear of the car

The first thing I've noticed, while looking at the back, was "the lights are not well centered!". Despite that (it can happen), I've noticed that both wheels are connected, so if you spin one, the other will spin too. No big problems here

The "inside" of the car has a real problem here: as you can see from the photo below, there is no driver seat!

The detail here (as in the rest of the car) are amazing, they ruined everything not making a proper driver seat. The steering wheel is nice, but does not steer (as the wheels).

The side of the car is simly amazaing, never seen something like this

I've only seen a "small" problems with some decals in the lower part of the car, as they were coming away while I was shooting. Don't know if it's a model problem, or maybe it is just mine.

The details on this model are simply AMAZING, just some little problems that could have been avoided by Greenlight.

Despite that, though, I still recommend this model, as it is an awesome livery and an awesome car.

My vote on this is 7.5/10 and, for the price I paid it, it is PERFECT

This is a nice informative review, but you need to post better pics if doing a review, if I am being totally blunt here, and I am, the pics are by far the most important thing, half of the members here will not even read what you wrote anyways. They just want pics, that being said are you going to any of the Indy festivities this weekend, I am planning on being there!

An interesting read Broz and a refreshingly alternative subject!

It's certainly a grand first attempt, and much appreciated

It's certainly not the easiest colour scheme to capture, but if you want my
I acknowledge the members comments about the pics, and If you'll pardon the liberty, I took your illustrative close up of the 'missing seat' pic...

....and opened it in Microsoft Office Picture Manager, simply clicked on 'Auto Correct'..... and here's the result..

It's somewhat whitened the background and IMO it seems to have pulled in the extra detail from the cockpit and differentiated the colours a bit....and none of us here are averse to a bit of PS editing!!

It certainly moves MY 'sows ears' closer to becoming silk purses...

Any help here is appreciated! But now I've changed my phone, from a Lumia 520 (which is lost somewhere in a store) to a 535, which is a little bit better

Unfortunately I can't use PS, so I try to do my best at shooting photos with a phone (which is awkward I know)
