Hello Matt, I am wondering if the Highway 61 purchase agreement includes the 1/16 trucks? The flatbeds and Grain trucks are easily fetching $300-400 at Toy shows these days. Certainly they would sell NIB for half that. Thanks!

Well that is one but not what I had in mind here.

thanks.
Will you disclose some information about quality range? Is this going to match GMP Plymouths?
I know it's too early for this, but please consider Mutant Bee version for future release > http://www.hotrod.co...odge-super-bee/

The plans are not to alter the Highway 61 quality standards at all. We are not making them more simple as some have speculated in other posts. The price points and exact packaging features are very much still up in the air. However we intend to release the HWY 61 brand items just as they used to appear in terms of part numbers, etc.

Thanks.

Hi Matt

Just a suggestion. Several of the older Highway 61 models used foil instead of actual chrome trim. You said you'd keep the models unchanged. If it were up to me, I'd get rid of the foil. Hope you guys will switch to chrome plated parts for those models. Thanks!

So where does that leave the HW61 Vans that they made? They where 1:18 but labeled as 1:16..? Did you purchase those molds?

Exciting news that the Hwy 61 vans may be back, especially if they were available at around the same price. A few things to consider would be a opening engin hood to show some engine detail. Also some may like an gmc vandura version. Other than that the detail on the Hwy 61's had very good detail for their time and I think hold up today. Thx for sharing this update.

I have a question about those HW61 Chevy vans... are they truly 1/18? I know HW61 released a few 1/16 trucks, and I don't know if they felt these fell into the "truck" category and so were produced as 1/16s, or not. I seem to recall seeing a thread at one point showing one of these against Hot Wheels' A-team van, but I can't remember if the HW61 was larger.
I'm interested in them either way! Just I've always wondered about these... :)
