As I promissed Winston, here are the pics. Sorry for the bad quality, since they're far from my best photographic job, but I guess you can have a good idea of what I'm talking about.

Richard sent me a 934 Skiwear (thanks dude! :cheers) and the roof antenna got lost. So to make one I used an accupunture needle, and I think the final result was quite good:

I just had to clip the sharp tip, cut the base to size and add a dot of Superglue to the base.

Being honest, if I didn't know what it was I would say it's the original thing.

This is how the needle comes when you buy it (it costs a few cents, and can be found at medical supply stores):

You just have to cut the base to the length you want and clip the tip, and then it's just a matter of gluing it in place. There's also a 2nd kind of needle, a little bigger in caliber but with a different base:

Sorry for not having it opened, but these needles are my wife's and she only had these, so I couldn't waste them. But I think you can see the base: it's made of a twisted wire, so it could also serve as an antenna. It's just a bit more thick and is longer then the first one (and a little more expensive, but still cheap). I think this one would look good on a 70's car.

Anyways, there you have it. Easy and cheap. :cheers

Eddie, I doubt a regular pharmacy or drugstore would carry them. They only have hypodermic needles (the ones used for shots and injections). These are strictly for accupunture, so you will only find them at medical supply stores. Here in Brazil you can even order them online. The small one costs something like $8 the box with 100, and the bigger ones go for about 50 cents each.

Lu, thanks a million for the brilliant brilliant idea. :wave That looks so much more better than I ever imagined. The pics are good too. You really cant tell if the antenna is original or not.

That's how I got the idea. Since I never had seen a 934 antenna before, I looked at my 935 X-Ray, and I thought that the needle would look very silmiliar. I tried it out and it was perfect. :cheers
