To all Mac experts:
I found today two Macs by Guiloy: both prototype LMs one red and the other one black and orange. Both mint in their boxes for USD$59 each. Is it a good find? Are they good representation of the real car? :feedback

But about the Mac, from what I heard Guiloy's car is the worst of them in 1:18 (UT being the best and Maisto the 2nd best).

From the pictures I've seen and from what I've read, the Guiloy models are NOT the best representation of a Mac F1... however, YMMV!

Here's a good one for you...there's a Guiloy McLaren F1 LM that's listed on eBay for US$150!! There's also a Buy-It-Now price at US$300. :scared

That all said, I think the $59 for a Guiloy is way overpriced. :cheers

Hi Daniel, it's good to see you drop by again. Regarding the Guiloy Mac, I'd say the price is a bit steep for what you get, on the two tone black/orange car the color separation is very bad due to poor masking and over all, it's really not a great model. :cheers

Price is about twice too high. These go for $30 typically.

Its an okay model, if you really want the Guiloy wait until another one comes along on buy it now for cheaper.

Thank you guys for your feedback. The cars are in a hobby store, not on ebay. So I will see if I can talk with the guy and get one of them for around $30. If not, I will just wait for another ocassion. But I really liked the black/orange one. The colors were nicely separated, unlike Rat mentioned. But you never know what you might find under a closer inspection.

Thank you guys for the warm welcome-back greetings. I really enjoy the place, it's just my new schedule that keeps me far away.
