hey Eric, I recently picked this model up, and the Silver 250 Lusso Showcase edition off Ebay. Got each for $34, which I was okay with, as I really like both Ferrari's and I REALLY LOVE the new colors. Hotwheels did a FANTASTIC job on these. The only issue is with the box it comes in. IT STINKS :pullhair . You can't stack these with any other model boxes, since its round. Plus all my models are in their original boxes. These two are sitting by themselves. Since I'll be removing these, and putting them in the individual display cases soon, I'll try to get some pics for the site tonight, and post tomorrow. I'd recommend these, but not for what Exoticar wants for them. Check ebay, it may be cheaper. :cheers

I don't agree on this!

We have the 250 GTO Showcase (yellow) at our store and the paint look like crap! The hood, trunk and top is darker (and it shows) than the rest of the car .....plus, the paint is fading in some places......CRAP!!!! :scared

Did you notice that you can stack those round boxes together? Those plastic parts on each ends at the bottom of the box goes into those holes (of another box, of course) on each ends on the top of the box.

But don't get me wrong......I think those "boxes" stinks too!!!

I didn't have the opportunity to open any of the new Showcase line and examine any of them up close. But, from what I could see with the models I looked at the paint looked great.

I think one major problem with Hotwheels is that they seem to lack consistency.

I think HotWheels missed the boat with the 250 California above, specifically. It should have been in red. After all, the regular HotWheels version was in burgundy. The car belongs in red and no other color. The Tonka/Polistil version (which I've mothballed) is out of scale.
