Yesterday I removed the stripes from my Hotwheels Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale, but I had a few problems. I need your advice on how to solve them.

First: Behind the stripes there's this little decal with a white line, that I couldn't remove with my nails:

Then there's a part of the stripe that I couldn't also remove, near to the rear spoiler:

I also lost the Ferrari symbol in the front of the car, I think I will cut it from the stripe.

And by last, there's quite a lot of glue residues left. How can I remove them without damaging the paint? In Bburagos I used nail polisher, but I've tried once nail polisher in a Hotwheels and it damaged the paint... Perhaps Alcohol 98% will work?

Please help me!

I used acetone (nail polish remove) and a Q-tip to remove the painted line. I dipped the Q-tip in the acetone and then squeezed the excess acetone from the tip. I only wanted the Q-tip damp, not dripping wet. I carefully erased the line with the Q-tip and immediately use a damp cloth to wipe up the wet line.

Just be careful not to touch any plastic (like the windshield) with the acetone. :cheers

What is exactly Q-tip? Here in Portugal there's not a product with that comercial name. :giggle

Thanks, you helped me a lot. I'll post some pics when I'm back from vacation. I also modified the steering wheel and correct the ride height in the front.

I had the same exact problem when I removed the stripes off my CS. I'm a little baffled that Hot Wheels took the time to PAINT a line to where the sticker was suppose to line up. :confused
