Hello!

My local hobby shop is quite small and always get mid ranged models. However, he is tempted to get a couple of CMC s now. Targa Florio and W196 are already on the way.... but he need some expert advice on the next...

The Mercedes McLaren

There are loads of colours and I had heard that some colours are even better detail wise.

Is the level of detail on the model and interior the same on all colours?

Which colours are not very well made?

Thanks all! :cheers

I think silver is probably going to be the best colour stock wise. in my opinion it is likely to prove the most popular and thus easiest to sell.

Avoid the anthracite and grey if you don't want large metallic flakes. Also, as far as I know detailing is constant across all colours.

:cheers

I forgot to add that the lighter coloured interiors tend to show the details off better. Fortunately though, the black/red leather interior of the silver is nice too.

:cheers Again.

I don't like the car, so the model doesn't have appeal to me. But, if I were to get the model "just because it's so darn nice" (which it is), I surely would get the silver one. Just don't forget that in a couple of months the Maseratti 250F will be out, and to the end of the year the GTO. :wink

Yes I know... I really like the fact that CMC wont do a Mercedes finally. But still, pretty much out of my themes so.... I will have just to look at them. BTW, I dont like the car neither :giggle
