This is my second Hot Wheels tuner car that I am making into a stock car. It will be a couple of days before I can get the body painted.

Here's what I have done so far:
Tail lights painted like a stock Civic coupe

Brakes are painted aluminum with red calipers

I painted the grill black and I added the orange turn signals to the lights

I painted the screen on the dashboard blue and I added white buttons

I painted the engine, so that it is not just a big chrome block anymore

And for the interior I painted those silver things in the back black, and I replaced the front seats and added a back seat with seats from a Maisto VW Beetle

And I painted the orange wheels silver.

I was thinking about painting it dark blue, but I'm not sure yet.

How does it look so far?

it looks awsome so far also the big silver things in the back are amps for subs e.t.c. thats 1 of the things that put me off buying 1 ages back, the bodykit and all the chrome was the 2nd thing what are you going to do with the bodykit? are you going to leave it or make up new bumpers? to make it stock

Thanks, I was just going to paint the bodykit that's on there now since I don't know how to make new bumpers. That's what is making me reconsider doing this to the Civic Si and the RSX,.

All I have left to do is paint the body parts that don't come off. I have the hood, bumpers, and side skirts painted already. The color I picked was Sapphire Blue Metallic. I post pictures of it tomorrow after I get the rest of it painted.

I got the body painted today.

All I have left to do is put on a clear coat, the trim, and put it back together.

I just finished this Civic, and it is the nicest car I have done so far.

Here is everything I did to this car:
Replaced the front seats
Added a back seat
Added detail to the dashboard
Removed the NOS bottle in the back seat
Removed the roll cage
Painted the amps black so they are less noticeable
Painted the whole engine
Painted the brakes
Painted the wheels
Painted the rear lights like a stock Civic coupe
Added orange turn signals to the front lights
Painted the grill black
Painted the body Sapphire Blue Metallic
Added black trim
Added 3rd brake light to the spoiler
