Allan posted pics of his Maisto CLK-DTM, I'm wondering how many different versions of the newer versions are there.

I think I currently have all of these and I'm looking to add the newer ones as well.

OT: Does anyone find the Maisto uses orange instead of red on the Vodafone car? On the DTM site, those cars do appear as silver/red NOT silver/orange. :confused :confused

I think its the pics and not the car.

Looking at mine, depending on the lighting it looks red and then other times it looks orange, butif I had to describe it, I would say silver/orange.

I just compared my 1/18 Maisto to my 1/43 Minichamps and the Maisto is a tad off or vice-versa.

another and you can see the difference in colors. Here's the clincher though....both pics are from the 2002 Nurburgring race. So I guess it's safe to say that lighting does play a role in the diecast co's interpretation.
I think Maisto seems to be correct :confused
Not sure which color is correct, all I know is I WANT IT :drool :drool :drool
Are the 2003's out in the US yet?

Thanks for posting those two pics mwrmt. Now I'm really wanting to see the cars in person to see what shade of red or orange is really on the car. :confused

SM-the Maisto is closer to the orange and the Minichamps is closer to the red. I'd personally like the Minichamps red version in 1/18 better, it's just more vibrant.

I'd like the redder version myself too. :cheers
