Hey Guys, Has anyone here evere attempted to take apart any minichamps cars?
I was wondering if they come apart fairly easy or not.Are they like an exoto,AUTOart,etc. was thinking of a new project for a repaint. thanks 911boy

It could depend on which Minichamps model. I took apart my BMW 3.0 CSL to fix the suspension and it came apart quite easily. I just removed all the screws at the bottom. Which one are you considering doing?

I'm assuming you are talking about the 1/43s? (If you are talking about Porsches)

Everything is glued together, so you will need a lot of patience to pry out each part. If you want to repaint the model.

Thanks guys, I was thinking of doing( repainting ) a 1/18,but after looking it over last night,I think It won't be so bad,so over the weekend I will try and dissemble it .

If it's a BMW M3 GTR, not hard to take apart a tall. A few things will have to have glue removed(trunk/engine) but rest ins easy, now putting it back together,(stearing) is a pain!! :badidea )
