Great Job Scott :nicejob :nicejob

where did you get the Ferrari Decals from? I was thinking of repainting my 355GTS in red since I can't seem to find one at a decent price :ranting

They were $10 . They offered them through http://www.ferrarichat.com , you may have to email them because I don't think they list them on the site. The silver "ferrari" script along the bottom is a bit faded , but everything else is OK.

Thanks a lot. I have been looking for these forever and all I could find was a european supplier... :cheers
Scott, you rock!! That dark blue is awesome. :cool1 :cool1
Nice custom Scott. Did you use a spray can or airbrush to repaint the car?

I really like what you did to the 355 Scott!! Great work!

Any secrets you can share as to how you make the paint shine so well?? Whatever I do, my paintjobs are still not shiny enough somehow.. does that has anything to do with the type of paint you use?? I use Tamiya ones.. but somehow i just cant lay down a nice shiny paintjob!! Any tips would help! Thanks!

Wetsanding & wax. Once I'm done with the paint job, I will wetsand it with 1500 grit wet sand paper. After that, I use a clearcoat compound which gets rid of the wetsanding marks. I then follow that up with a finishing wax(although any good wax will work).

Thanks for the tip! So where can I get those clearcoat compound?? Any specific recommended brand?? I uses wax too.. the one i use is Turtle Wax.. but they only make things a lil better, not a huge difference.
I got the stuff from one of my old jobs. Look for something that is "fine to medium cut" & "removes 1000 to 2000 grit sanding marks".
