I have 7 HWE Ferraris currently in my collection and I have been doing to research on other brands that I might like to acquire. My wife bought me a MR Collection 1:43 458 that is Marvelous! So I begain looking at their 1:18 scale Ferrari's and I noticed that they are exactly the same as HWE expect for they come in an array of different colors that you cannot get in HWE and also the have slightly more detail.... but they also cost upwards of $200.00 more than an HWE. This leads me to believe the two are related and are probably manufactured in the same factory. I plan on ordering an MR soon and will do a definite comparison between the two. If this is true it really makes HWE an amazing bargain! I'm thinking about picking up a 458 Special, a LaFerrari and the number 27, 42, 97, 40 599xx Evo since I already have the HWE white number 2 and the 599xx EVO is one of my favorite cars. What do you think?

Not sure what you're asking here?

The resin equivalents from the likes of MR and BBR are great, but a lot more than $200 on top of the price of a Hotwheels .. they usually go for $400+ compared to the elites which are around the $100 price point (1/18 scale).
Also, they are not exactly the same as you've mentioned

MR is sealed and made from resin (unlike HWE which is diecast metal), costs more (almost 4x, even more), has an insanely high amount of detail and the paint quality is much better. I don't see similarity between HWE and MR except for the fact that they make replicas of the same 1/1 cars.
