REmember i was looking for the black Kyosho Daytona ?
well, i went to the local auth. retailer for Kyosho and they had 1 last piece availible on display...

so i took it.... checked the car and decided to buy it...
since it was on display, the salesperson had to screw it back onto its base n put it back into the box...

As i was in a rush , i paid for it and left.

Whne i got home, i took out the car in eager anticipation and LO N BEHOLD!!!!!
the side mirror is BROKEN!!!!!!!! I AM SOOOOOOOOOO PISSED!!!!!!

it could NOT have been like that cos i checked thru the car very carefully and something like a broken mirror would stick out like a sore thumb.... also becos the car has only 1 mirror..... (not its just a stupid plastic stub where the mirror once was)

I am really really very disapointed and upset. the salesperson most likely broke the mirror when trying to get the car back onto the base... why can;t he have been more careful??? And this is the LAST Black Daytona...... F#@$)#@$#

And now, i have to waste my time and travel all the way down and get it exchanged for something else tommorw.... probably a black 328 or 365GT4/Bburago.... i was really really looking forward to this Daytona..and this s__t happens.... to the very last one too.... this really really SUX to the core!!!

Oh that really sucks! Is there any chance at all Kyosho has replacement parts available the way AutoArt does?

That sucks! Do they have that piece with them. Maybe u could stick it back with a spot of glue and still have the car for yourself.

i seriously don;t think they will keep the piece with them... cos the attachment to the mirror is really a small thin piece of plastic....

If it was EASILY fixable, I would consider keeping it. If not, get something else.

i dun think its an easy fix.... the Daytona's mirror is very thin..... and i have no idea where the mirror is.....

sigh.... whne i opened up the car, i wanted to cry...... put it back into the box and away from sight... i feel sick.....

another thing which pissed me off was that i rushed down all the way from work just to get that car.... and the dumbass broke the mirror

so which shud i exchange it for?
they have 365GT4/Bburago in black, yellow n silver...and the 328GTB in black only, and a 308GTB (not the QV) in yellow only

and the Daytona no pop-up lights version in red, and pop-up lights version in yellow... no more friggin BLACK!!!!!!!!!!!

i was thinking of going for the 328....... i'm gutted

Get a yellow one, or the 365 GT4/Bburago in silver, which is gorgeous. Don't worry, you will find another black Daytona, don't give up.

well..i juz went down to the store during my lunchtime.....
they called another branch ad checked and found there was another black Daytona located elsewhere.... so *fingers crossed*, they said they will have it tommorw for me to collect it...

ok! i;m home and i got the car changed for another Black Daytona....
i was actually bidding on the ebay auction too...but (luckily), someone outbid me and i;m kinda surprised at how high the bid is going...

well... this Black Daytona is my first ever non-red Ferrari and i think its probably the BEST color for this particular car... it really looks elegant in black and it looks fantastic!!!!

i love the hydralic rods holding up the engine hood.... great attention to detail!!!!

Makes me wanna get more Kyosho Ferraris... they juz make me smile
