Hi guys... hows it going?

first of all i would like to apologize to you guys for not being able to follow through
on the "survey" project last december. i know a couple of you guys were enthusiastic about it.
i do feel rather small and I did have to muster alot of "face" just to write.

a few months ago, the regional creative director decide to play god
and merge or disolve a few creative departments... deaming them redundant.
My department was one of them.

Being the head of the department, it upsets me that somebody a thousand miles away
can make that decision without asking us.
(he wanted to save money so instead of hiring new people, lets just merge departments)

what was upseting was my department was doing better that his own department
(we have HSBC regionally and my ever favorite VIAGRA!)
and he wanted to down scale our efforts.

anyway after months of hard work and politics... the head office in the UK declared
i could keep my department over turning over the regional's decision.

SO... it wasn't like i did not want to follow thru on the survey...
other priorities just overcame everything else.

AGAIN... i'm sorry for letting you guys down

i would like to rejoin the forum... if i'm still welcome here.

Arnold

Just come on in and enjoy yourself, Welcome back! :cheers

Welcome back Arnold. Glad that things with your job are straightened out and secure, first of all. Second of all, don't beat yourself up over the project that you had planned. We all make plans and sometimes they fall through. You never know what tomorrow will bring. We are just glad you are back. . . :eek:k
