[Road Runner 72]

Hi all,

Just had someone offer me a AUTOart TOMMI MAKINEN Evo VI road car in Black. "as I like black cars"

The price is on par as when it was new, but don't know how old these cars are :confused as well as if I can find one cheaper.

I am leaning towards getting it, but just not sure if its a good deal.

any help will be much appreciated.

Mike, I believe that the Makinen cars have indeed increased in proce, but not by a whole lot.
It's like most things - some people are hot for them, and others don;t care for them at all.
I say if you want it, at that price, go for it. I don't think you will be ripping yourself off.

Will have a close look at it, if its okay I will get it.

I would like a Makinen car too, but unless I can get a red one for a good price, I'm afraid I won't go chasing for one too hard. There are a too many 'to get' diecasts higher up the list.

I am unfortunately not interested in a black or white one, but that is pure personal preference.

RG thanks for the Photos, that is what I like, the white wheels on a black car, very rare for me.

Tho guess what, the seller read this thread and up the price :ranting

So I will answer you Q here Sir, I will pass on it, and will look else where for it.

I would rather buy it from a collector anyway.

But if he wants to up the price, good on him. He's just lost a sale from you, when he may not get a buyer at his new price.

No need to be sorry, I wanted to know about this model, it was great Info, and so happy I was told, just some people rather make $$ than enjoy the hobby.

I should find one as I enjoy the hunt, like a famous hunter once said "be very very quiet I'm Hunting wabbit" :giggle Sorry just thoung that was funny.
