Nice model!!
Maybe an offtopic question, why is the Mercedes S-class 1:18 so much more popular than the BMW 7 series 1:18? The AUTOart one costs 200+ euro nowadays, while the Kyosho one can be found less than 100 euro.

Even though I'm a massive Bimmer fan I've never been a big fan of any 7er, I guess it's because I much prefer the sports cars and M cars over the big luxury barges and SUVs that BMW make. Where as I guess Merc guys tend to like the big luxurious saloons as Mercedes are more famous for those type of cars historically than BMW. Just my point of view of course.
E38? No love. Little love? Come on, it's one of the best looking BMWs ever.
I think i'll go for one of those, I do love a 7er & have several of them, so this will go well with those.

It's weird really, the AUTOart S63 AMG models seemed to dry up quickly & the prices went nuts (especially for the Black one) I think it must be the AMG badge as the W221 S Class often doesn't go for a lot of money.
Having said that, the Dealer Edition BMW 760Li (E66) models got very hard to find & they started to fetch a lot of money. The F02 7ER was never that popular.
IDK why the BMW 7er models don't earn as much as the AUTOart W221 AMG S63?
..but this is such a must if you are a luxury car fan!

WOW!!!

Where did you find those pics, David? Thanks for sharing, it looks breathtaking!

I'm going to Munich next week. Hope to get my hands on one in BMW Welt's shop maybe.
Rainer, did you find out any more information on when these 7er G12 models will be released while you were in Munchen?
If so, would you please let us know when they are expected
Cheers!!

I'm not really into 7ers, but that looks very tempting, all three colours look superb! it's going to be tough to choose one colour.
iScale is Kyosho sub brand right?
Nothing to do with them
If I go for one, it has to be the Dark Blue or Black, most of my 7er's are those colours anyway so it would fit in nicely.

Actually, my understanding is that iScale is a Kyosho distributor and the models being sold under the iScale moniker are simply rebranded Kyoshos.
If you look on eBay, some of the iScale models are actually posted as Kyoshos. I have two iScale models and they definitely have the look and feel of a KYO. Overall solid and very good quality.

The thing is, Kyosho themselves had already released a statement about it, iScale has nothing to do with Kyosho.
Isn't iScale connected with Welly?

^what he said. That's how I knew there was no connection between them
Thank you people! Due to bad experience with Kyosho in the past, I wanted to know should I avid these or no. . . These models really look good. . .
Well, my friend Robert on facebook posted these in early December.. so I guess it's out in China/Asia? I wished that I had mine in hand right now though..
Hopefully soon!

Engine bay looks a bit dull personally...

I'm not feeling the inner exhausts though...

The chrome piece cruise radar between the grill should be black & not chrome...
