I wonder have iScale just scarped the G12 7er all together?
Absolutely quiet on that front
Even though, I have a prototype, I am still waiting on my Imperial Blau version and possible a Mineral Weiss as well

If they do scrap it, then your prototype will become GOLD. :)

Just got a call from BMW and went there to pick up my blue one..but they only got grey like you already sent me..so the Grey one is literally out right now...(but strangely not online 1063 to be exact were shipped to BMW dealers)..hopefully my Blue arrives this week as well!

I did some refining on my Sophisto Grey:

- corrected the front fascia matching the design package by adding the wide chrome trim + LED fog lamps
- blacked the distance radar between kidneys
- painted the rims in bi-color Ferric Grey
- painted brake discs Chrome Silver

I also got the Mineral White, planning to convert it to M-package soon.

Oooohhh, I can't sleep.. Looking So forward to your M-Packet Sport 7er!!!!..in White at that!

BTW, even stock out of the box, this looks better than any of the last Kyosho 7ers!!
So, iScale can do good models when they want to!

I agree, not a bad job by iScale. Especially the tight shutlines, the soft suspension, the flawless paint.
But I don't get it why they failed on that simple details?
The rims are perfect in shape and size but missing that two-tone colouring they look totally off. And BLACK plastic brake discs? Serious???

I love to put my hands on a model...if I WANT to. But why do I HAVE to do it, just to correct such deficiencies?

For the M-package: this won't stay white...sorry!

Aventurin Red over Ivory

or maybe I'll go one step ahead an make the Alpina B7 in Java Green instead.

Nice work Rainer, it looks so much nicer now, you're really given it a nice lift

I'm not keen on the Java Green Alpina, a car of that size doesn't suit the colour
The Red though, looks ace!! It'll look superb if you replicate one in that colour!

So true!!!..why can't they just do it right? I have a feeling that BMW supplied them mixed-matched Data which can happen on CAD models and they just built it verbatim ?
That said, they should be serous enough to double check with BMW and make sure that the car matches the 1/1!
Now, I have to wonder was iScale just being sparing on paint. as they nailed the E-Klasse Sedan & C-Klasse Cabrios two toned wheels and really the "chromed' radar up front?

I personally hope that you will do the new B7 the M looks like an ape from the rear with "N-Packet" these days Rainer
..besides, I was thinking, if I were to do a custom 7er, it would be a B7 due to mimimal moding and better aesthetics

Can't wait to see what you turn out either way!! CHEERS!!!!!

How many of you got this model in a kit form? I ordered it two times and both times model came with broken mirrors. It seems like box has serious design flaw. Bas on which the model is attached can easily detach and then model can break and get damage. . . Similar situation is with Norev CSL. So I'm thinking to stop buying iScale because I really don't like getting models in a kit form. . .
