Here we have what is regarded as AUTOart's finest moment to date, the Jaguar XJ13

Only the one prototype was ever made, rebuild after a massive testing accident, it now live's in Jaguar's museum, only allowed out on very special occasions.

Which realistically means the Protious Replica's is the nearest thing you can get to driving one.

No need for a description of the model the pitures will speak for themselfs.

The aluminium effect's are extremely well done.

Eddy: Now this is another one of those amazing looking 60's sports cars, so are we going to take it for a spin
Sid: Oh my goodness gracious No
Eddy: Why not, whats to stop us
Sid: to you know how much these are worth, andthis being the only Prototype in existance, and i had to plead with the jaguar staff at theremuseum to let it out for this Photo Shoot.
Eddy: Fair enough
Vince: This engine, its so complicated with so many tubes and wires that if i was to drop several handful's of M&M's and KP Peanuts into the engine bay, not one of them would hit the ground

Now for a Jerry Springer Final Thought.
If you don't have this model i have just one quetion for you, WHY NOT?
This is one of those model that no matter what theme to your collection you may have it just has to fit in somewhere, if you do have this model them you have make one of the best choices for your collection.
If you don't have this model, as soon as you finish reading this, scour the Internet and/or the diecast shops of your nation and get one before they are all gone.
With Models such as the UT Mclaren F1's, Exoto Mercedes C9, AUTOart lamborghini Murecilargo 40th Aniv and CMC Mercedes Racetransporter with Mercedes W196 R Streamliner straped to the back, the AUTOart Jag XJ13 is one of those rare models that survives in everyone's memory to become a Legend.
So please if you don't yet have it, get one now.

:coolpics That is a most impressive model Mr V. and as usual your photos are superb! In fact, the photos you posted 2 weks ago of the Lambo Jota were sufficient for me to order it. With these photos and your praise, it goes on my shopping list! Thank You.

:lol your 'stories' are getting dafter Mr V!

Its more like an Exoto than an AUTOart. The detail is astonishing, even better than my Sierra Cosworth.

I'd love one of these models; just don't like the colour - its the only thing stopping me.

:cheers

Congrats MrV. AUTOart outdid themselves with this one. The ultimate AUTOart. There is one on my wishlist. If my gf had to make a wishlist of 10 cars for me, nos. 1-9 would be this Jag and on the 10th spot would be the Caddilac Biarritz. lol

Green is just not my thing Mr V. in my humble opinion the XJ13 would look nice with a stripped aluminium finish.

:cheers

I totally agree. Absolute beautiful model. It's a perfect fit in any collection no matter what you collect. I think AUTOart just released more if I'm not mistaken so now's your chance. Great photos Mr.V. :cheers
