The S.I.C (Super Imaginative Chogokin) series is basically the high end/super detailed action figures produced by Bandai back in '99 (and still running). The line consists of characters from both classic & modern live-action TV shows.

This particular character is Kikaida. He stands 7 inches tall, has a cool see through mechanical parts and comes with accessories: Heart, guitar, enemy head, weapons (blades), and a diorama stand.

There are many others as this line is already at #23. Kikaida is #01.

I'm kicking myself for not picking up the Hakaida w/ sidecar at the same time. I can't believe how much they've gone up in price!

Yeah, the live-action stuff had been around for quite sometime. There were many cool & wacky live-action shows back then. My other favorites were the Kamen Rider series & Kyodain

The animated stuff is not bad. If the art style looks familiar, that's because it's done by Shotaro Ishinomori - the same creator of Cyborg 009 (also on Cartoon Network). :cheers
