Impressive new pair Josh - very nice!

Great stance on the Nova and nice dragster details - though a bit surprised Acme haven't upgraded the smaller details on the original casting.. I'm sure it wouldn't have been that difficult or expensive..

But your big Muscle momento Chevelle is a show-stopper!

Actually I do not mind and it would drive up the cost to open the doors or just put new ones on as that would require a new tool. As long as it has that big 496 that is good enough for me.

The Chevelle is very satisfying because I have hunted for a good deal for years, I stopped at 100 bucks on several auctions, but I knew they deal would find me.
1) I was thinking more in terms of say photoetched handles ... or even chrome foil - silver paint 'chromework' just rattles my cage (vis a vis the Kyo Jotas)
Engine is a cracker tho'

2) Everything comes to him that waits!

Interesting photo comparison Josh, and don't they display well together as a group ?

Nice touch that ERTL have replicated the interior of the showcar
- a very cool model indeed!

'Kinell Josh, that's $15 well invested!!

Thanks for your photo review and astute observations- it warms my heart that Maisto are really making so much effort - right down to the paint detailing simulating the seals around the doors - it keeps the spirit of the hobby alive
Maisto
!!!

...really lookin' forward to your Lambo...

Just read your pre-view Josh (missed it as it was on the last page) re: 'flimsy a** plastic toy'...so will reserve future comment until I actually get to hold one in my hand!

Thanks for your frank comments - that's what DX is all about

LOL Sven I cannot believe you guys are not roasting me hardcore for the microwave shots!!
I presumed you bought it specifically for the purpose Josh (as a sort of US equivalent to the 'wormhole'
)

.....there's absolutely no way you cook with it.. it's far too clean!!

OK, sh**t the Y2K, the Pikes is a really quirky model Josh...and I love it..
Thanks for all the pics matey!

I really want to get a 'plazzy' model in 1:18 collection, and this could be it..

...only thing is....
As for the model, it is ABS, but only $110 shipped so I think it is worth it,
Cheapest in Europe is $150.....

Looks like it's the Revell Artega GT for me....

What do you mean about the Artega GT Eddy? Is that one you are looking at getting?
Not really Josh, it's just it looks like it's going to be the only 'plastic' car that I will be able to afford on this side of the pond!!!!

Meantimes, I'll just keep revisiting your microwave!!
