As i promised in an earlier post i am going to start a collection thread.
When i joined this forum in may i mentioned that i started my collection with some cheap cars from Burago and Hotwheels. What inspired me to get those cars was something created by Eurosport called the Super racing weekend in the late 1990´s and early 2000.They gathered some racing classes together for example Formula Renault 2,0 maybe and Touring cars and to top it off the GT class.
These events was held at some of the famous race tracks along Europe like Spa Francorchamps in Belgium.Scandinavian Raceway in Sweden,Estoril in Portugal i have probably forgotten some of the other tracks...
My collection is based around sportscars, supercars and hypercars so of course the first cars that i bought was sportscars.
The first cars was also some of the cars seen in the GT class altough the ones that i have are the roadgoing versions.
But as we all know at some point we are not satisfied with the cheap models so we start looking for something with more details and better quality.
So it was obvious that also happened to me...
Please feel free to ask questions and make comments if you like.Just like the rest of us i enjoy this forum for what it is.
Well, lets start with the first 3 cars that i bought to my collection.

As a Ferrari fan the first one is a Hotwheels Ferrari 550 Maranello.

The second one is the Bburago Porsche 911:

The third one is the Bburago Dodge Viper GTS Coupe:

This car is a beast, the design is is not so refined i would say it is a brutal looking car and it sounds gorgeous especially when you consider it started its life in a truck. But after some fettling from Lamborghini, well the rest is history. The sad thing is that they are cancelling the Viper program
.
Hope you like it so far.More to come stay tuned.

As you could see in the presentation box i am also interested in movies mostly action, thrillers and a few animated ones.So of course there are some movie cars i my collection. When i first heard rumours of "The fast and the furious" movie i thought this could be another disaster that i should stay clear of.The reason for that is when Hollywood decide to make a movie about a certain interest that are appealing to many people sometimes they forgot to do some background research. And this is no exception...
I think it is quite interesting that they are doing a burnout and wheelie at the same time

Another thing that is interesting is to find a crankshaft in a rotary engine..
But i ended up watching this movie and despite the mistakes i really liked this franchise. The sad thing is we wont see Paul Walker anymore in these movies.
R I P Paul Walker.
Well,time for some pics then.

First off the Toyota Supra:

Mazda RX7:

Mitsubishi EVO 7:

Dodge Charger:

And all of them together:

Hope you like them.

Thanks dor watching.

Time for another round of photos, this time one of my favorites. This was probably the first high end car that i bought,Kyosho Nissan GT R R35 in black. When this car was introduced back in 2007 it was kind of a gamechanger because you could buy a car with supercar performance for less than a Porsche 911 turbo. The technical specification is really impressive you get a 3.8 litre twin turbo V6 with 480 bhp, 4 wheel drive,4 wheel steering.A top speed of almost 200 mph.The latest version of the Nissan has 580 bhp while the Nismo has 600 bhp. When it was released Nissan claimed that this engine was impossible to tune to higher bhp but now we know better. For example Severn Valley Motorsport has developed the hulk which has about 1200 bhp, so much for an engine that was impossible to tune...
Time for some pictures of my Nissan Gt R´s.

And since the black looked kind of lonely i bought a friend:

I hope you like them

Thank you for the comments.
Next up is AutoArt Nissan Skyline 2000 GT R.The first Nissan Skyline was unveiled back in 1957 but it was not called Nissan, back then it was named Prince.Later that company was bought by Nissan in 1966.The Skylines are available either in sedan, coupe, stationwagon, crossover, convertible and pickup/sedan body styles. One of the trademarks of the Skyline is the twin round tail lights that was introduced in the 1970´s.Back then not so many have heard of the name Skyline it was not until the videogame"Gran Tourismo" was introduced that people outside Japan noticed Nissan Skyline. And it was probably the Nissan Skyline GT R R32 nicknamed"Godzilla" that made people aware of the car. When Nissan entered the R32 in 1992 as a test before competing in Group A Touring car championship in 1993.That car was built by a small company named HKS at least it was a small company back then. That particular car had an impressive run of 29 wins from 29 races. The engine in this car is an RB 26DETT a twin turbo straight six with 650 bhp.
The roadgoing version had 280 bhp, officially but real power figure is probably around 320 bhp.
But the one i am showing here is the Nissan Skyline 2000 GT R and it was introduced in February 1969 as a sedan. The coupe was debuted in october 1970 and introduced in march 1971 and it was called KPGC 10.
Time for pics.

In my opinion this is one of AUTOart´s best models.

Thanks for watching.

Time for another Nissan, this time the Nissan Skyline GT R R34 sports resetting in bayside blue by AutoArt.This car was bought at the Paris motor show back in 2012 if i remember correctly. The R 34 Skyline was launched in 1999 and it was produced until 2002 and the Z tune continued until 2005.I think there was about 10 different versions made of the GT R to name a few there was the GT R V-spec,GT R V spec 2,NISMO S tune,NISMO R tune and NISMO Z tune.I have not found any information about the Sports resetting version so i don´t know when it was introduced. If someone knows more about the Sports resetting please let us know.
