Yes, more photos of the HWE Ferrari 348 tb grace the pages of DX! This pre-order arrived today, literally just came off the truck. The latest release from HWE is another great die cast to be released with the last 2-3 years. This isn't their best effort to date, but a damn fine one. I had no issues with over spray, glue residue, which some have reported. My only gripe with the model would be the miss on the shutlines, they could be better, especially around the hood and pop-up headlight. Best part of the model IMO is the engine bay detail, and a close second it the interior, very well done! Enjoy the pics!

Congrats on the add and thanks for posting pictures! It is on my want list and I think Hot Wheels did a great job with it!

Congrats on the "odd horse".
I believe it is a great model from Mattel, altho I will agree on the panel gaps around the headlights. I think they could've done a little better, but it is still millennia ahead of any previous offerings.
I have one on my bench being converted into a GTS for a customer.

Absolutely.
I have the yellow for the road car collection and keeping the red for a custom mod down the track.
Congrats on the add
Hmm, do I smell a 348 Challenge racer in the works, Mark?

348 Michelotto Competizione in plain red to go along with the other racers in my collection.

I think it looks great. And one of the few Ferrari's I do not mind not having in black. Although, black would be nice.

They have announced the ts for this year and have not mentioned anything yet about a Spider, but I don't see any sense in not making one in the future. Same with a challenge version. If they are making 5000 of each variation they need to get more versions out there to make it cost effective. The only thing different on a Spider would be the main body mold.
Either way, the ammount of new Ferraris per year they put out is admirable to say the least. Hats off to them.

Looks excellent except the front grille nice add
What is wrong with the grille? Both front and rear grilles are exactly like on the real car.

Im not saying the grille is innacurate. I just hate it when they make it of solid platic with no other detail.. Grilles are for air to pass through...

Agreed, weakest piece on the model overall, but great piece for under $100

Looks very good indeed - congratulations [K]!
I do like the interior, especially the angle of the steering wheel (unlike the Kyo Daytonas!) - spot on!
