Still can't believe AA has sat on their hands with this one hitting $1000 regularly. Meanwhile they're working on the 453rd version of the R34, they should cover every single one made at some point. An army of Challengers too. If I were at AA the F1, 930's, Countachs, and 635's would be in perpetual production. Heck would of done the Grand Wagoneer over, but we needed Jukes I guess.

I think I got my white F1 back in the day for $180ish... I wonder if you can see through the dash speaker grilles on this new one. I'd go for a volcano orange one. Curious if better pictures would show if they fixed up the headlights.

The bling wheels, if you spray them with lacquer clear matte, they would tone down to the proper color.

Glad someone had the stones to say this.

No need to have stones, a lot of us think the same.

They are kind of like Polyphony Digital (driving game dev company) with Gran Turismo 7. They keep releasing vast amount of "almost nobody cares" cars and only once in a while do you get a fan favourite in there. Not to mention the 10 different versions of a JDM or a Lamborghini they do instead of different actual versions of other cars, in specific, cars that they are yet to release at all (the Supra Mk4, the Jaguar XJ220, the Gr. B Peugeot 205 to complete the Holy Trinity of the Gr. B, to name a few).
And all of which would easily get sold out.

They have the tools to do it propperly... they just decide not to.

But when Lamborghini releases another car they make 7 copies of that will never see a street, let alone the light of day who will make a version of it for us to buy?

AA used to make interesting, attainable cars along with some high end stuff and even some oddballs, like their excellent Mad Max cars. Now, I rarely pay attention to what they make. Should I have bought the Bayside Blue R34, probably, but otherwise ehh.

Ummmm the raisin says the grapevine is sorta sexy in purple. I would just give it a tan interior. I approve this message. My wallet will need convincing but I think I can convince it.

i have one Autoart F1 in silver. wouldnt mind one from LCD in another color if it nice enough. i remember seeing a UT Models F1 here on DX forums repainted to atomic orange. it was such a cool color for the F1.
the purple F1 looks strange and good at the same time.

I'm holding out judgment until I see better pictures, but from these I'm seeing the same problems as when they showed it last year, the overly chromed rims. And on the silver and blue ones, the suspension looks collapsed, and the front wheel wells look weird.

I like the frozen blue color more than any of the colors Autoart made it in. But unless they improve the finished product, I'll still want the Autoart more, even pay extra for it if I have to. Autoart has definitely been focusing on the markets in China and Japan the past few years, that explains all of the Skylines and etc. But a rerelease of the F1 would sell out everywhere, it seems like a no brainer.

From those closer pics, the car overall is pretty fine, but the shut-lines are quite open.

It's still a prototype, but the AA still does look like the grail of road car Mclaren F1s. Although if they do sell this car for anywhere between 200-300 like their usual products are, it's a pretty nice price.

Also wanted to post here that MakeUp is going to also release a McLaren F1, but it's a resin, and... for the usual over the top prices for these resin cars, over 450€ I hear. However, it does look insanely good:

One thing I don't like about the LCD McLaren is the size of the flake. Compare it to the scale correct flake on the Make Up. But then again they only have to get one thing right which is the exterior
