Hello everyone! I decided to create this thread to share with you a part of my 1/18 model cars collection.
I've been collecting for a year now having about 170 models (24/3/2022) more or less. I started my collection buying modern supercars (2010-today) but the last 6 months i've been collecting cars from my "golden" decade: 60's and early 70's and some superstars of the 80's.
As i have a passion with photography some of my models have visited my small studio that was made especially for them (unfortunately not all yet) and those photos i decided to share with you in that post. I hope you 'll enjoy this small "catwalk" of my models and leave your comments/remarks.

Being not a fan of the Zonda nor of matt black paint on cars I can say that you mastered the photographic challenge with excellence.

There is only one way to get decent pictures of a black model with black background:
Light, light and more light!

Well done, Marios!! (y)
Thank you very much @vulpex ! 3 huge led lamps at 6k Kelvin were used for these photos. The next lighter thing would be the sun o_O . But thankfully i didn't move the studio out in the yard, i also think that the result is satisfied enough!

The next two models are the Koenigsegg Agera R by Frontiart and the Pagani Zonda LM by Peako.

An impressive history fact about Agera R is that on 2 September 2011, during test sessions in Ängelholm, the Agera R broke six world land speed records for a production car, including 0–300 km/h (0–186 mph) in 14.53 seconds, and 0–300–0 km/h in only 21.19 seconds. The braking performance required to maintain this record is enabled in part by the Agera's stability, demonstrated by Koenigsegg test driver and drivetrain technician Robert Serwanski, who was recorded by passenger Rob Ferretti (founder of the group "Super Speeders") braking from 300 km/h to 0 without holding the steering wheel.
It was named Hypercar of the Year in 2010 by Top Gear magazine.

As for the Zonda, throughout the years some customers decided to start special projects with Pagani Automobili to build special editions of some of the Zonda models. The Zonda LM belongs to the "One-Off" series of the company and was the second to last edition of the Zonda made in 2015. The car was commissioned by Argentine Alejandro G. Roemmers, an heir to a multi-billion dollar pharmaceutical company fortune. The custom Zonda is based on the 760 RS model and pays tribute to the iconic 24 Hours of Le Mans race. Unlike other special edition Zondas, the LM has revised headlamps (only Zonda which has different headlights) and an even bigger rear spoiler than the original 760RS. The LM also has the tricolore stripes depicting the Italian flag on the right side of the bonnet and the German flag on the other side. The rest of the body is built on standard 760 RS specifications. The car has a carbon exterior. A Roadster version of Zonda LM, dubbed Zonda LM Roadster, was commissioned by the same owner, with aero specifications identical to that of the coupe.

I hope you'll enjoy the photos of these two exclusive hypercars.

Next two models come from Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A.
The first one debuted at the 2007 Frankfurt Motor Show and only 20 vehicles sold to the public, with one additional car (marked as 00/20) produced for the Lamborghini museum. We are talking about the amazing Lamborghini Reventon replicated by AutoArt in white.
The other one unveiled on 14 August 2021, the car is named after the original Countach which was first introduced 50 years prior. Based on the hybridized powertrain of the Sián FKP 37, 112 units are planned to be produced, the number referencing the LP 112 model designation used during development of the original Countach. The amazing Lamborghini Countach LPI800-4 replicated by MR Collection in white color.

Enjoy the photos :):)

Next model is also a supercar from Ferrari. Actually is a tuned version of 812 from Novitec.
The 1/18 Novitec Ferrari 812 N-Largo by IVY Models.
From a first sight it's a really stunning model with nice carbon details, that has nothing to fear from far more expensive versions. The only drawback - serious one- is that i can't see the engine through a rear black glass (Maybe there is not an engine at all:()
Nevertheless a trully photogenic model.
Enjoy

Great model and awesome pics!(y)😟

Nevermind the missing rear engine, the worse is that you can't see the nice carpeted luggage compartment at the front, with the made-to-fit Ferrari leather suitcases!

You can't really see a thing though those little vents on the hood...

;)

Next model is a masterpiece of design and a supercar of it's time!
The 1939 Delahaye Type 165 Cabrio made by Minichamps
Delahaye Type 165 is considered as one of the world’s most voluptuous supercars, this cabriolet design was first released at the 1938 Paris Motor Show. Basically built on a production-version of the V12 145 race car chassis, it received accolades for both radical performance and world class elegance. Furthermore, it is one of only a handful of cars to receive Delahaye’s rare V12 engine. Of all the cabriolet bodies that Figoni et Falaschi made, this sweeping design is their most harmonious.

The model draws almost all eyes over it even if it's placed near the CMC Bugatti Atlantic (Pope Version), or the Talbot Lago, mainly because of it's vivid red color and it's amazing curves. Minichamps has made excellent work on it's resin models of this series and Delahaye is not an exception.
I hope you'll enjoy the photos :)
