Next model is a masterpiece of design and a supercar of it's time!
The 1939 Delahaye Type 165 Cabrio made by Minichamps
Delahaye Type 165 is considered as one of the world’s most voluptuous supercars, this cabriolet design was first released at the 1938 Paris Motor Show. Basically built on a production-version of the V12 145 race car chassis, it received accolades for both radical performance and world class elegance. Furthermore, it is one of only a handful of cars to receive Delahaye’s rare V12 engine. Of all the cabriolet bodies that Figoni et Falaschi made, this sweeping design is their most harmonious.

The model draws almost all eyes over it even if it's placed near the CMC Bugatti Atlantic (Pope Version), or the Talbot Lago, mainly because of it's vivid red color and it's amazing curves. Minichamps has made excellent work on it's resin models of this series and Delahaye is not an exception.
I hope you'll enjoy the photos :)

Spectacular photos @Marios! These pics remind me of a photography book I have from Michael Furman: Motorcars of the Classic Era:

The only difference is his photos are the actual cars! These classics really photograph well on a black background as there's so much detail and chrome that just pop.

I don't know what kind of words can someone write for the next model. I beleive that the 99% of the members in this forum know the history of this car so i won't try to emphasize in that. As a new collector the only thing i can tell you is that it's magical! Unbelievable work from CMC. It's the second edition of this model that arrived the day before yesterday and yesterday was literally a full day of photoshooting. I didn't try to show the details of the mechanical parts which are mouthdropping but the magical dance of this car under the music of shadows and light. I don't know if the images meet the expectations needed for this car, but i did everything i could to present descent photos for this myth. I would really love to tell me your opinion of this photoshooting, and choose your best one.

I present you the Mercedes Benz 300 slr Uhlenhaut Coupé 1955 from CMC.
