yes we will continue to see f50, 288 gto, f40, 250 tr and gto (overscaled)... unfortunately even the cheap and beautiful testarossa (Bburago al lot better than Hot Wheels in my opinion) and 456GT are a little bit underscaled...

moreover, i was wondering why no one made a decent 348 Spider!
Mattel has done a good job with Elite 348 tb/ts... mixing Bburago and Mira... why not make the spider?
Maybe because the Elite 348 TB/TS are not selling well at all. The 348's are simply not popular enough among Ferrari fans, especially the younger generation.

I have the elite 348 TS and it is a fine model in itself, one of the better Elites. However the subject is kind of an also-ran. That and the Testarossa will be lost to 80's cheeze-grater fad Ferrari history. Then again, I got it on ebay brand new for $40, so it feels like a good purchase in that regard. Not sure I would be so enamored at $90 tho

I am still not convinced that HWE is going to be out of the Ferrari game, I think it it very possible that Maisto will assume the low end model making while Hot Wheels will continue to offer just elite models. Somebody is going to continue making mid priced quality models of Ferrari and it is not going to be Maisto. Mark My Words.

I dont know if i'm being silly in thinking this, however HWE have basically made every model Ferrari there is that anyone would want to collect, so really is there any real benefit to a new company? other than making models of the latest cars on the road the bulk of the profit has probably already been made in the 1:18 scale, especially if HWE decide to do some major production prior to losing their license and selling 'old' stock?

or do others disagree with this thought?
Like a lot of people already mentioned, there are lots of Ferrari's that HWE hasn't produced. I have a giant 1-inch thick book of every road car Ferrari has ever produced and there are countless classic cars in there that I never knew existed or cars that HWE hasn't touched.

After reading everyone's input on this topic, no one mentioned POCHER. Now that the exclusive Mattel agreement is coming to an end - thank goodness! I do hope other model companies are allowed non-exclusive rights to produce models from this maker. Yes, I would love to see Autoart make Ferrari's. Yes, they might be expensive based on the recent Huayra but you get what you pay for and I will pay for high quality rather than a low quality Maisto. Yes, not everyone could afford AUTOart or Pocher but that is why the licensing should be non-exclusive so everyone from every income level can enjoy this great hobby from other makers as well.
I'm waiting for Pocher to make a 1/8 LaFerrari so Amalgam doesn't monopolize it!
That's my 2 cents worth.

I still hope someone will make a California T. I have the HWE California, but it has a bit of damage, and I never fully warmed up to the styling. The mid-cycle refresh fixed everything that was wrong with the styling and added even more power and poise to an already desirable GT car in my opinion.

I just bought a second F12berlinetta because my local dealer gave me 50% off as part of a store closing sale, and I thought HWE did a stellar job with that mold. Now all I need is the yellow F12 to complete the set! I also hope we won't have to wait long for LaFerrari and the 458 Speciale. The HWE version of LaFerrari should look epic in my opinion with everything opened, and I really started to appreciate the 458 Speciale after I saw one in person (so now I want the 1/18 model!).

Since Pocher is in 1:8 and this is 1:18 forum, and also Pocher is kit, I think that is why no one had mention Pocher. In my opinion F12 Berlinetta would be much better comeback of Pocher then Aventador. . . But that is totaly different story. . .
