The grey one is fitted with centre lock BBS style wheels.
The first generation turbo had a race career, but I have no knowledge of the later model being involved.
If those are slicks, I could do with at least two sets of the wheels on their own....

For those interested in TV related model subjects - this represents the RS2000 driven by 'Ray Doyle' in the professionals.
An interesting choice, not outlined in any description I have seen but a nerd like me was always going to spot it.
What could be missing is the sunroof, it is reported to be the only factory produced RS2000 with a vinyl roof and the sunroof.
However - I have watched the show many times when this car is part of the action, and it doesn't always seem to have it.
Naturally the film company probably had a number of cars to use - inside shots could be in any car, and there is usually no sunroof visible.
When a decent discount arrives I will probably buy one.
Old Fords now seem to be increasing in value big time - did anyone see the price the ex Princess Diana Escort turbo sold for?
And kudos to SunStar, their black version representing this car has the correct 5 bar grill, and not the usual 3 bar fitted to the turbo.

Thanks for the tip! I wasn't crazy about the MCG prices, quality, and lack of opening parts, but was likely to get it for sentimental reasons. However, I'd definitely prefer a Greenlight version especially with opening doors and such. Do you have any idea when the release will happen? I checked out Greenlight's site, but found no details/press releases.
Hi BK1, I remembered I mentioned these Caprices on this forum months ago- finally we're starting to see customer pictures of the Greenlight Caprice- I think it looks really sharp. I've only seen the doors open, but the MCG doesn't even have that. Anyway, I hope posting this link is okay, as it isn't about MCG exactly. Did you ever end up buying one of these? Thoughts?
Here's the Greenlight Caprice- again if this isn't okay please remove, I'm not trying to break any rules.

More details of those subjects already known, plus some that are not as yet.
Not all of the items are 1/18th scale though....
Language begins in German, but some English is included.

When the chap shows the 1:18 Audi Coupe GT, he puts two Audis down on the table. The other (which we barely see) looks to be a very early Quattro (81?), which I would like. Did anyone else spot this?

Some nice looking models there!

The Michelin Pilot Escort RS Cosworth Manx Rally car has only even been made by UT Models before and most of those are completely ruined by decal flake! So that one is nice too see (in day format too! cool!) The Red Bull one is cool too.

It would probably need a German speaker to confirm it, but I didn't hear the word quattro.
And I didn't notice the extended wheel arches, which I seem to remember was a signature marker for all of them.
You’re right, I check. The second Audi, is also a GT (no flared arches) but it has the multispoke alloys. I don’t remember the 1st generation GT having the ‘Quattro’ wheels although I know the later GTs had multispokes. Anyway, I like that GT with the ‘normal’ GT wheels :)

I've got one on pre-order. The UT decals always seem to dry up then flake off. I think mines ok, but oddly missing its sunstrip.
