So I got home and the package is just the Koons Art Car. I did not get the white #78 that I paid for over 3 months ago
But I gotta believe that if they made good on the Art car then the white GT2 is imminent. I see ebay loaded up on quite a few this week. I can't believe I got the Art car shipped for $165. Shipping must have been $25 alone given the size and weight of the model and case.
That's a great price, Tony. I had to add an extra $90 for shipping to the other side of the world but added up, it's still cheaper than any you can find on ebay excluding shipping.
Tony, I'm still waiting on my #78 GT2 - which I also ordered in February. But it was less expensive than from any of the eBay sellers (though I still watch those closely), so I'm hanging on, waiting for BMWPartsSource too...
For the guys in Melbourne who are after one, check out your local BMW dealer as I just spoke to one who has 4 at $220 each.
Just trying to convince the 'Minister of War & Finance' that buying one is a great idea
